OLD WULFS - OUR CLUB
The Heart of Old Wulfs
At Old Wulfrunians, we believe football is for everyone. No matter a family’s financial situation, every child deserves the chance to play the game they love, make memories, and feel part of something special.
We are more than just a football club - we are a community. When one of our players had his bike stolen, we rallied together, organising fundraising events to get him a new set of wheels and lighten the load on his family. It’s that family-first approach that defines who we are.
Beyond the pitch, we’re proud to support charity events like the Dragon Boat racing at Himley Park in Dudley, raising funds to make football more affordable for players and their families. From sponsorships to grassroots initiatives, our mission is simple: remove barriers so kids can focus on having fun and growing through football.
Our roots run deep, with a journey that started in 2017. Founded by Phil Plant, we’ve grown from Sunday training sessions with a handful of players into a club that’s made its mark in the league. Along the way, we’ve celebrated promotions, lifted trophies, and built partnerships that align with our values—like our ongoing support from 1HUTCH.
But at the heart of it all is our commitment to creating a positive, family-oriented environment where players can thrive both on and off the pitch. Whether we’re celebrating a win, helping a teammate, or cheering each other on, it’s all about building a team—and a community—that feels like home.
