Today, Old Wulfs faced Wordsley Wasps, who currently sit bottom of the table. The message before kick-off was clear - no underestimating the opposition.
In the very first minute, Old Wulfs made an early mistake, and we were fortunate that Wordsley didn’t capitalise. That scare quickly sharpened the lads up, and from then on it was one-way traffic. Old Wulfs dominated all over the park. The passing was sharp, movement was excellent, and the teamwork was outstanding. By halftime, the scoreline reflected that dominance 7–0.

Halftime Team Talk, Phil reminded the lads not to get complacent.
The focus was to:

•⁠  ⁠Move the ball quickly
•⁠  ⁠Communicate more on the pitch

The second half kicked off exactly how the first ended, total control in every area. What stood out most was the unselfish, team-first attitude. Every player contributed, and the football played was a real pleasure to watch.

Old Wulfs 15–0 Wordsley Wasp Warriors, a fantastic all-round performance and a great confidence boost heading into a huge top-of-the-table clash against Chaddesley Ravens next week.
