Today, we faced off against the Forest Falcons South, who had won their first two games of the season. The game kicked off with Old Wulfs attacking right from the start, and in the 4th minute, Dan set up Kyle, who finished calmly to make it 1-0.

In the 24th minute, the Forest Falcons sent a long ball that our midfield and defense failed to handle, allowing their striker to break through and score, leveling the game at 1-1.

Things didn’t improve a minute later when Old Wulfs struggled to clear the ball, which was bouncing around everywhere. Oscar conceded a penalty, and once again, the Forest Falcons converted it, making it 2-1.

In the 27th minute, Harry G brought the ball down to Kyle, who slotted it home again, bringing the score to 2-2.

The game remained scrappy, but in the 32nd minute, Sam showed grit and determination, taking the ball down the left side, driving into the area, and scoring a fantastic solo goal to make it 3-2.

Halftime score was 3-2.

Greg expressed his dissatisfaction with the lads' performance, noting that we were just kicking the ball around without any passing, shape, or determination to win the ball!

The second half started off a bit scrappy, but Old Wulfs were trying hard, missing a couple of scoring opportunities.

In the 51st minute, Oscar played a ball over to Olalekan, who was bundled to the ground, resulting in a penalty. Olalekan stepped up and smashed it home, making it 4-2.

Now Old Wulfs were finally playing the football we know they can, creating plenty of chances but failing to score.

In the 66th minute, Harvey took a corner and delivered a perfect ball to Josh's head, resulting in a lovely goal to make it 5-2.

In the 78th minute, with just 2 minutes left, Old Wulfs switched off, allowing the Forest Falcons to score again, bringing the score to 5-3.

The final score was 5-3.

Well done, lads! It wasn’t the best performance, but we secured the 3 points.
