After our loss last week, we were looking to get back to winning ways.
From the first whistle, Old Wulfs dominated the game with sharp passing all over the pitch. We created chances early on but just couldn’t find the back of the net. Brierley Hill, meanwhile, struggled to get anywhere near our goal.

Half-time: 0–0
At the break, Phil spoke to the lads and praised the quality of our passing, but reminded us we needed to start getting shots away and test the goalkeeper instead of trying to walk the ball into the net.

The second half started just like the first, with Old Wulfs dominating and the passing looking unreal. 44th minute: Olalekan plays the ball through to Ethan, who smashes it home to make it 1–0. 45th minute: Dan slips Harry G through on goal and he makes it 2–0. 50th minute: Olalekan is sin-binned for 8 minutes after a poor decision from the referee, leaving Old Wulfs down to 10 men. Even with 10 players, we continued to dominate the game. 59th minute: Olalekan returns and Old Wulfs are back to 11 men.
61st minute: Jack picks up the ball outside the area and smashes it into the top corner — 3–0. 68th minute: My favourite goal of the day. The ball is up in the air, the keeper comes out, Olly heads it across goal and Olalekan nods it into the net. Lovely goal! 4–0.

A great performance from the lads today, dominating the pitch from start to finish, with Brierley Hill not even managing a shot on goal. The only thing we need to improve is being a bit more clinical in front of goal.
