Today, we faced off against Trysull Tiger, a team we had previously defeated, so we knew it would be a tough match. Old Wulfs started the first half kicking uphill against the wind, making it a challenging battle from the get-go. Unfortunately, in the 6th minute, Trysull broke through and scored, putting us down 1-0. 

After that, Old Wulfs found their rhythm and created a few chances, but in the 25th minute, Trysull struck again, making it 2-0. Despite the setback, Old Wulfs kept pushing hard, and just before halftime, Josh received the ball, charged towards Trysull, and passed it to Harvey, who fired it in to bring the score to 2-1. 

At halftime, the score was 2-1. Phil encouraged the team, reminding them that we would be going downhill in the second half and that we looked like the stronger side; we just needed to make our passes count! 

As the second half began, Old Wulfs dominated the play but struggled to find the back of the net, hitting the post and facing some incredible saves from the Trysull keeper. Trysull had a few opportunities, but it was mostly Old Wulfs controlling the game. 

The match ended 2-1, and it was unfortunate that we didn’t come away with a point. We’ll regroup and be ready for next week!
