Today, we went up against the Seven Valley Vulcans, who are at the top of the league and haven't lost a game all season. We knew it was going to be a tough match. Old Wulfs started strong, with Seven Valley holding most of the possession, but we managed to counterattack a couple of times, almost taking the lead. However, in the 17th minute, Seven Valley showed us why they’re at the top, and things went downhill from there, with Old Wulfs trailing 5-0 at halftime.

Greg had a chat with the team about pressing harder and maintaining our defensive line, encouraging everyone to keep fighting. The second half kicked off with Seven Valley dominating possession again, but Old Wulfs kept battling. Ten minutes in, Seven Valley scored again, and just seven minutes later, they found the net once more. In the 50th minute, Old Wulfs earned a penalty, and Oscar stepped up but unfortunately hit the crossbar—so close! In the 55th minute, Seven Valley scored again, but Harry, our goalkeeper, got injured, so Olly took over. Old Wulfs managed to hold on for the last 15 minutes without conceding and even created a few chances.
