⚽️ MATCH REPORT ⚽️
Harry, Brad, Logan, Oscar, Lucas, Harvey, Josh, Olly, Dan, Kyle, Mikey.
Subs: Arun, Ruben.
Today, we went up against Cradley Town, who were unbeaten this season and scoring goals like crazy. Old Wulfs were looking to turn their season around.
Unfortunately, it was a rough start for Old Wulfs. Within just 7 minutes, we found ourselves down 2-0. After that, we managed to settle a bit in midfield and created a few chances, but we didn’t really test the Cradley keeper. Then, in the 17th minute, Cradley struck again.
Things got worse in the 23rd minute when their striker scored an incredible overhead kick from a throw-in. Old Wulfs really shouldn’t have given him that much time! By halftime, it was 4-0, and we were playing some pretty poor football, just kicking the ball anywhere.
Phil had a chat with the team, urging them to actually play football instead of just hoping for the best hi. The second half started, but Old Wulfs went right back to their first-half form and conceded four more goals in just 20 minutes. In the last 15 minutes, we had a couple of chances, but for most of the half, we were just defending with no shape or drive.
As D-Ream said, “things can only get better.” Let’s go, Old Wulfs! ❤️
